Akbank LAB is calling on local and global companies to collaborate on projects with Akbank through the Akbank PoChallenge.
According to a statement from the bank, Akbank LAB, the center that coordinates Akbank's innovative ideas and work, is seeking its next-generation business partners. Through its PoChallenge program, the bank invites fintech, startup, and technology companies from around the world to develop projects together, thereby bringing next-generation products and services to life.
During the application process, which will be open from October 1-31, Akbank will evaluate a wide range of project proposals.

Following the application and evaluation processes, the program will be complemented by a physical meeting. Shortlisted companies will be invited to Demo Day, which will be held at Sabancı Center Istanbul on November 26th. Finalists will have the opportunity to conduct a paid proof-of-concept study with Akbank.
The program, which offers participants the right to develop paid projects with Akbank in the short term and, if the project is successful, the opportunity to become Akbank's supplier in the long term, is open to all fintech, startup and technology companies that already have products and references.
To date, Akbank LAB has completed nearly 50 proof-of-concept studies (PoCs) out of hundreds of ideas through its collaborations, and nearly half of these studies have been successfully implemented.
As part of the Akbank PoChallenge, solution proposals will be submitted in specific focus areas. Among these focus areas are AI-focused solutions for good, which will be evaluated in collaboration with Microsoft AI for Good Lab, as part of Akbank LAB's ReFi Turkey initiative.
